Making Friendly Tens
In first grade we discuss different strategies to help us solve math equations. One strategy we learn to help is add is to make a "friendly ten". We call any two numbers that make a sum of 10 a "friendly ten" (4+6, 3+7, 9+1). If we can remember all the "friendly tens" it makes adding so easy! Here is an easy game to print that will help solidify this concept.
