Making Friendly Tens

In first grade we discuss different strategies to help us solve math equations. One strategy we learn to help is add is to make a "friendly ten". We call any two numbers that make a sum of 10 a "friendly ten" (4+6, 3+7, 9+1). If we can remember all the "friendly tens" it makes adding so easy! Here is an easy game to print that will help solidify this concept.

This is a set of 120 charts to help your student see patterns in the sequence of numbers. If your student is struggling with number sequence print these off and have them work on filling in the missing numbers.
